Description

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's virtualization infrastructure • Overseeing VMware administration, virtual machine management, troubleshooting, and ensuring the performance, availability, and security of the virtualized environment • Partnering with Network, Windows Engineering, Linux Engineering, Security, and Storage teams for successful deployments • Communication with other teams for successful deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of virtualization experience supporting a large VMware environment. • In-depth knowledge of VMware, AD Group Policy, and network storage • VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA) • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) • Cisco UCS experience • Strong network background • HCI - Dell/EMS VxRail or Cisco HyperFlex • Proven ability to keep pace with latest technologies and skills. • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent, are a plus. • Windows AD user and security administration • Advanced knowledge in VMware Networking, data stores, backup, DR replication, vSAN and SANs • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as IT, Computer Science, systems, or Software engineering from an accredited college or university (5 years' experience in lieu of degree) Self-motivated and able to work independently and in team environments.
