Description

• You are a highly analytical and detail-oriented finance professional with a deep understanding of the advertising/media planning and buying industry. • As the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you report to the Managing Director of Commercial Finance. • You will maintain our client financial relationships of multiple clients and act to support the finance leads for all financial deliverables to clients, including contractual compliance, reconciliations, and profitability analysis. • The main responsibilities of the role are to support the Commercial Finance team: • Works with the business to analyze and build forecasts, improve data capture and collection process and help analyze and create useful insights to share with the business. • Track revenue vs. budget and research variance drivers. • Prepare utilization, overhead and client profitability analyses. • Review client contracts to ensure financial compliance. • Manage intercompany and global revenue forecasts and cross charges. • Collaborate with teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals for clients. • Supports the business in their development and tracking of short, medium and long-term resourcing requirements. • Help identify ways to improve processes and increase efficiency. • Support the efforts to prepare and produce all client financial deliverables. • Supplies ad-hoc financial information and analysis

Requirements

• Relevant finance / accounting qualification • 3+ years of FP&A or Audit experience required • Licensed Certified Public Accountant/Certified Management Accountant a plus but not required • Experience in Client Finance and Financial Planning/Accounting preferably in Media and Advertising a plus • Highly proficient in Excel including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, charts, etc. • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Work well independently and on teams • Tenacity to follow-through on open items to complete assignments and meet deadlines • An analytical and critical thinker, with the ability to tell a story backed by data • Strong interpersonal skills to interact within team and across functions • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • A supporter and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion
