Description

• Seeking a Senior Writer to develop high-quality content for the Department of Veterans Affairs. • Manage multiple writing projects while collaborating with various stakeholders. • Conduct research and fact-checking to maintain content accuracy. • Adapt writing tone to match audience and brand voice. • Review and edit content produced by junior writers. • Analyze content performance metrics to improve engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, English, Political Science, or a related field. • Minimum of 7 years of professional writing experience, with a focus on high-level government or public sector communications. • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of relevant work. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. • Ability to translate technical information into clear and engaging content for a general audience. • Excellent research skills with the ability to synthesize information from various sources. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems.
