Description

• Provide executive leadership, oversight, and direction of all legal matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, litigation, corporate governance and law enforcement relations. • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement legal strategies that align with the organization's business goals and objectives. • Leverage experience in negotiating and closing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic ventures in order to contribute to the organization's growth. • Perform the function of Corporate Secretary and advise both the CEO and the Board of Directors on corporate governance-related matters, to include best practices and maintenance of corporate records. • Compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as industry regulations relevant to the company's operations. • Advise on complex legal issues related to business transactions, intellectual property, data privacy & security, employment, and other legal areas impacting the organization. • Lead and manage the legal team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a high-performance culture. • Represent the company's legal interests in negotiations, transactions, and interactions with external partners, regulators, and stakeholders. • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure ethical conduct. • Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company and recommend proactive strategies to address legal challenges. • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, contributing to key decisions and initiatives that impact the organization's overall success.

Requirements

• Seasoned legal professional with a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution and a minimum of 15 years of legal experience and 10 or more years of executive leadership experience in a corporate context. • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills required to initiate and develop productive working partnerships with all levels of management/ leadership and staff. • Demonstrated experience in successfully negotiating and closing commercial business agreements. • Demonstrated experience in successfully negotiating and closing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic ventures. • Ability to influence results, garner support and tactfully manage complex relationships and influences within and across the organization. • Demonstrates customer service orientation and seeks to understand customer requirements and exercising judgment in meeting their expectations. • Exceptional oral and written communication, persuasion, consulting, team building and negotiation skills. • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of ecoATM.
