Description
•Loyal is a clinical-stage veterinary medicine company developing drugs to extend dogs’ lifespan. •Seek an experienced General Counsel to ensure legal compliance and provide strategic guidance. •Collaborate with teams to mitigate legal risks associated with business initiatives and partnerships. •Review and negotiate commercial agreements and oversee intellectual property protection.
Requirements
•A minimum of 8 - 15 years of experience practicing law. •JD from a top US law school and active bar membership in good standing. •Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. •Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and relevant regulatory frameworks, with the ability to apply legal principles to real-world business scenarios. •Excellent drafting and editing skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively. •Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. •Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization. •Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide strategic guidance to senior management. •Comfort working in a fast-paced technology-centric environment.
