• Seeking a Project Manager to support diverse projects across NYC neighborhoods • Work with multidisciplinary teams to support planning and development efforts • Assist in preparation of graphic and written materials for project teams • Provide support in the crafting and implementation of public outreach processes • Communicate effectively with staff across NYCEDC and with stakeholders
• 1-2 years of work experience, including any previous internship or fellowship experience • Undergraduate degree from a four-year college or university • Demonstrated experience using Esri’s ArcGIS software • Demonstrated ability to create clear maps and other compelling graphics for a variety of audiences • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite preferred • Experience with community outreach and translating concepts into materials that can be understood by a wide range of audiences • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently with guidance • Demonstrated organizational, time management, and follow-up skills • Demonstrated written, verbal, and analytical skills • Passion for public service, the built environment, and New York City’s people and neighborhoods • Applicants may provide a portfolio with examples of their graphic and mapping work • Occasional travel across the five boroughs of New York City • New York City residency is required within 180 days of hire
