Description

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain features for the client-facing web application in an AWS ECS stack • Work with an agile team to deliver frequent iterations, including individual and collaborative work • Perform and participate in PR reviews, technical discussions, and requirement elaboration activities • Pair, share, and mentor with other developers on the team and other stakeholders on other teams • Occasional production support on rotation • Contribute work on UI, API, and DB tiers. It is not necessary to be an expert on all tiers • Contribute high-quality work while being adaptive to frequent change

Requirements

• Deep expertise in building web products with one of the major application languages (Javascript, Python, Go) • Experience in relational databases such as PostGres • Currently proficient or having an active interest in cloud-based development • Strong written and verbal communication skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences • 5+ years of experience working in a full-stack or API engineering role • Experience in technical leadership of an engineering team is a bonus • Strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software application design • Passion for solving challenging problems and iterating quickly • Previous start-up experience is a definite plus
