• Assist with the maintenance of electronic personnel files and filing systems (actives, terminations, I9’s, etc.) • Send new hires required compliance trainings and track status to ensure completion • At least two years of related experience; prior work at a non-profit is a plus • Experience with benefits, onboarding, and record retention • Work within our hybrid model (2 days per week in-office)
• At least two years of related experience; prior work at a non-profit is a plus • Proficient in using G-Suite, Adobe PDF, comfortable using Slack and ability to pick up other tech tools and systems, like MS SharePoint and an applicant tracking system • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects • Empathetic and approachable with excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times • Comfort working in a dynamic environment; flexibility and adaptability are important • Work within our hybrid model (2 days per week in-office) • Passion for the Girls Who Code mission to close the gender gap in technology through a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Posting open jobs on recruitment sites • Prepare HR-related reports as needed • Sort and distribute department mail • Help set up new hire workstations for their first day • Ad hoc support of talent acquisition projects • Help prepare Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents • File documents into appropriate employee files and maintain active and terminated employee files according to regulatory requirements • Greet and direct staff, vendors, and visitors upon arrival • Respond or redirect staff inquiries to the appropriate P&C team member • Assisting in the planning of company events • Assist with clearing and sorting org merchandise in our long-term storage • Support with the filming of facilities safety videos • Support with culture events
