• Provide compliance support to program, fundraising, and operations teams. • Ensure adherence to various regulations and funders. • Monitor compliance needs for Acumen’s philanthropic entities and investment funds. • Track compliance with the organization’s records strategy across geographies. • Support internal audit and review of required procedures across functions. • Support various needs of the Legal function.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or paralegal roles, ideally in global organizations spanning non-profit, social enterprise, and for-profit sectors. • Strong organizational and diplomacy skills and ability to work on various projects independently. • Strong curiosity and proven learning orientation especially towards process and organizational efficiency. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong project management skills with task ownership and management track record. • Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through. • Commitment to Acumen’s mission and business model. • Ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity with integrity and ethical behavior. • Ability to remain cool-headed in unexpected situations and stay focused on goals. • Amenable to working with a variety of stakeholders and across time zones efficiently. • Self-reflective and aligned with Acumen values. • Must be authorized to work in the US. • Bilingual Spanish and/or French and English speakers preferred.
