Description

• Acumen is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our in-house design team to support our marketing, branding, and visual communication efforts. • This role is based in our New York office which operates under a hybrid model, with three days in the office: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. • Develop and design a wide range of digital and print materials, including social media graphics, website graphics, decks, and email templates. • Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually engaging content for campaigns and editorial content. • Assist in the creation and maintenance of brand assets, ensuring consistency across all visual materials. • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for various projects. • Prepare and present design concepts to team members and stakeholders. • Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion while adhering to deadlines. • Stay updated with design trends and software updates to maintain a high standard of work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in-house or at an agency. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software. • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work and demonstrating creative thinking. • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques. • Basic knowledge of Figma, HTML/CSS, and animation software is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs. • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. • Self reflective and aligned with Acumen’s Values • Authorized to work in the U.S.
