Description
HackerOne is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Science to lead our strategic efforts to build and optimize data products and solutions, collaborate across HackerOne as trusted strategic partners, uncover new ways to drive growth, as well as define, implement, and operationalize new metrics from scratch, forecasting, and setting targets to drive accountability. As a Senior Manager of Data Science, you'll be a cross-functional force multiplier, contributing at all levels, elevating ambitions, and guiding your team to design solutions to ambiguous business challenges. Leveraging your extensive technological expertise, domain knowledge, and dedication to business objectives, you'll drive innovation to propel HackerOne forward. After 90 days, you will: Deliver impact by leading our strategic efforts to build and optimize data products and solutions, collaborate across HackerOne as trusted strategic partners, uncover new ways to drive growth, as well as define, implement, and operationalize new metrics from scratch, forecasting, and setting targets to drive accountability. Be a cross-functional force multiplier, contributing at all levels, elevating ambitions, and guiding your team to design solutions to ambiguous business challenges. Drive continuous evolution and innovation, adoption of emerging technologies, and implementation of industry best practices. Champion a higher bar for discoverability, usability, consistency, validity, uniqueness, simplicity, completeness, integrity, security, and compliance of information and insights across the company. Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
8+ years experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar quantitative role w/ proven track record of collaborating as a trusted strategic partner, uncovering new ways to drive growth. 8+ years of experience building and optimizing data products and solutions. Experience managing individual contributors. Extensive experience defining, implementing, and operationalizing new metrics from scratch, forecasting, and setting targets to drive accountability. Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation. Strong proficiency in creating compelling data stories using data visualization tools such as Looker, Amplitude, Tableau, Sigma, Domo, or PowerBI. Proven track record of having substantial impact across organizations, demonstrating your ability to drive positive change and achieve significant results. HackerOne is a digital-first company.
