Description

•HistoWiz helps biomedical researchers by accelerating histopathology and enabling global collaboration. •The Research Associate will perform IHC, IF and RNAScope and train team members. •Maintain laboratory organization and complete projects with client-expected turnaround time. •Develop new protocols, communicate with clients, and maintain accurate work records.

Requirements

•PhD in scientific field (e.g. cancer biology, neuroscience, immunology) •3+ years experience with animal models of human disease •First-authored publications in peer-reviewed journals or funded grants •Experience optimizing antibody conditions and troubleshooting IHC/IF assays •Experience with multiplex IHC/IF assays •Excellent communication skills and works well in a team environment •Experience in project management and working with pathologists •Experience planning, developing protocols, executing and writing reports for histology studies •Experience with Leica Biosystems Bond autostainer and ISH •IHC assay development experience in Pharma/Biotech •Experience in QC and image analysis using automated software such as HALO
