• Shape and execute programmatic strategies for the foundation • Lead on internal transformation projects to achieve programmatic objectives • Coordinate program strategies, goals, plans, and budgets • Facilitate internal communication and alignment across program staff • Supervise assigned projects and staff in Program Strategy and Management • Lead program leadership meetings and facilitate agenda-setting
• Significant department director-level leadership experience for social justice organizations and power-building or organizing initiatives that have resulted in major impact • Significant knowledge of, and relationships within, the power building fields and movements relating to JPB’s mission • Effective operational executor who can align diverse systems and disciplines • Proven track record in program development, implementation, and management • Significant organizational change management experience desired • Strong interpersonal communications skills and strategic relationship-builder • Flexibility and adaptability in an ever-changing environment • Experience in managing and mentoring teams for a positive work culture • Deep fluency in social justice principles and ability to integrate these into strategies • Grantmaking experience is a plus
