Description

• Primary focus is to create content, copy, and editorial calendars for client needs; contribute to conceptual and copy direction on assigned accounts, both at the day-to-day and strategic level • Write content concepts and bring to life creative ideas • Develop copy content for account(s) that are in line with the brand voice and strategy relating to products and/or clients, utilizing language that is compelling in pop culture and the internet, distinctive and in sync with art/graphics that may be used • Draft social content as well as longer-form assignments (blog posts, website content, scripts, brand messaging) • Support creation of social playbooks, helping to develop personas, brand voice & tone, community manager response scripts, etc. • Work closely with the creative team to ensure visual concepts and copy are cohesive, and tailored to best practices on individual social channels & platforms • Assist with research for creative campaign assets for new business opportunities • Translate trends, technologies, and metrics into understandable and easily digestible new business presentations • Additional duties and project management responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional writing experience for consumer-facing brands on major social platforms • Excellent writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills across a variety of topics and channels, B2C and B2B preferred • A strong grasp of current social landscape including platform capabilities, trends, and best practices for each individual major social platform (e.g. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) • Finger to the pulse of what is happening on the internet and within pop culture before it becomes trending • An understanding of the quirks, opportunities, and humor associated with social media communications • Demonstrated book of previous social content • Ability to craft and tell a good story
