Description
• Write performant and high-quality code that meets internal standards for style and maintainability • Set and edit technical direction, aligning approaches across multiple areas • Translate business goals into technical solutions with realistic milestones • Continuously ship new features and improvements • Design and implement experiments to better customer experiences • Anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges through long-term planning • Lead and contribute to workflow process • Explore data to provide insights into the business • Share insightful updates and presentations across the tech team and to the entire organization • Act as a thought partner and key stakeholder for the full development cycle • Coach, motivate and grow other people • Influence across the organization, including with leadership
Requirements
• 2-4 years of professional full-stack engineering experience • BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding, or equivalent technical experience • Experience with modern web tooling and frameworks such as React • Strong programming fundamentals, including proficiency with C++ • Demonstrated experience in developing organizational technical strategy and communicating it to various audiences • Expert CS fundamentals with experience across multiple disciplines • Ability to communicate complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems clearly and concisely • Stellar ability to coach others • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Nimble, scrappy and adaptable • Positive, can-do attitude
