Description

• Lead the Foundation team overseeing development of critical cloud backend systems • Manage a team of software engineers with cloud infrastructure expertise • Collaborate with Finance for informed infrastructure decisions • Drive cultural change with emphasis on cost engineering and spend predictability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • 7+ years of experience in Engineering • 3+ years of experience managing a team of engineers • Leader of cost engineering effort and/or significant impact for cloud cost optimizations • Influenced a persistent culture of cost savings and optimizations • Partnered with vendors and managed the relationship to extract value • Familiar with Node.js and MongoDB • Developed forecasting and cost allocation models with Finance teams/depts • Experience with CI/CD pipelines • Experience with Docker, Terraform, and/or AWS • Experience with Elasticsearch, Solr, or Algolia
