Description
• Senior software engineer role in powering the future of home buying • Ship code to production on the first day and dive into mission-critical projects within the first month • Architect, build, and launch new versions of platforms, integrate with 3rd party providers, and improve job processing infrastructure • Work with a tech stack including TypeScript, React, Node/Express, GraphQL, Postgres, AWS, Terraform • Develop software architecture patterns supporting enterprise customers • Mentor junior engineers in technical and soft skills • Develop reliable and observable infrastructure with an SRE-oriented mindset • Scale high-throughput distributed systems in the cloud
Requirements
• Strong eye for security risks • Product-oriented mindset • Ability to develop readable, maintainable, and effective software architecture patterns • Excitement for mentoring less senior engineers • SRE-oriented mindset for reliable infrastructure • Experience scaling high-throughput distributed systems in the cloud • Bonus points for experience with Terraform or CloudFormation • Full-stack web app feature development • Experience designing and scaling complex relational DB schemas
