• Senior Analytics Engineer assists in delivering analytical solutions that impact the league. • Partner with multiple areas to develop impactful insights. • Lead various parts of the data journey. • Develop visualizations, dashboards, and reports. • Present the data story for analytical adaptation across baseball.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in analytics engineering or related field. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects. • Proven track record of building strong stakeholder relationships. • Exceptional ability to translate complex business processes into technical requirements. • Proficiency in quantitative data collection and analysis (e.g., SQL, Excel). • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) analytic products. • Expert-level proficiency in data visualization and BI platforms. • Experience with software development tools and end-to-end SDLC processes. • Outstanding communication skills. • Client/Business customer centric experience preferred. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. • A bit of a MacGyver, adaptable problem-solver.
