• Work directly with a stellar team of early engineers to design, develop, and maintain large swaths of ModernFi's early IP • Design and implement frontends for clients, architect maintainable backend services, and build integrations with bank partners • Apply modern technologies and methodologies to create a best in class client experience • Join a team working in Flatiron, NYC office • Exciting opportunities to impact and shape the direction of the company • Help build products that improve financial health of Americans and institutions • Develop high-quality applications for clients • Maintain and further engineering best practices • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences • Lead engineering initiatives from start to finish for large-scale systems
Requirements
• Incredible communication skills • Tangible experience developing and shipping code • Track record of leading engineering initiatives • Ability to handle nebulous problems and shifting priorities • Excited by life-changing work in a startup environment • Rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept creation • Ability to explain complex technical issues • High EQ, trustworthy, and calm under pressure • Interest in financial systems, markets, and banking
