Description
• Provide services to adults with diagnosed mental illness in a group home • Provide supportive counseling to assist in stabilizing • Crisis prevention skills and coping skills • Crisis intervention • Medication supervision and teaching of medication management • Teaching of daily living skills • Maintain a healthy and clean environment for client independence • Socialization skills and recreational activities
Requirements
• College classes in human services, BA preferred • 6 months-1 year experience in human services preferred • Valid and insurable driver's licenses • Experience or education in crisis intervention and prevention preferred • Ability to work independently and as a team member • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • The ability to be organized and have good time management skills
