Description

• Work with stakeholders in engineering and product to define and refine your team’s roadmap. • Manage and mentor engineers up to the senior level • Support your engineers in gathering requirements, defining scope and delivering new software components/features or significant improvements • Contribute to and provide feedback on scope, design, change management and operational readiness documents • Operate large-scale, distributed systems including incident management, leading root cause analysis of defects, and defining and executing on corrective actions • Continuously improve operational best practices and processes for the team • Live our core values and leadership principles in your work

Requirements

• BSc or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Theoretical background in Distributed Systems and/or Database Management Systems • At least 7 years of practical experience in Software Engineering, with at least 2 years as a Lead or Engineering Manager • At least 3 years of experience delivering and operating scalable, distributed production systems • Experience at mitigating and diagnosing customer-impacting issues • Strong verbal and written English communication skills, including technical writing • Track record of effectively working with stakeholders across job functions (e.g., product/design)
