Description

• Find, analyze and support the prioritization of the most promising and impactful opportunities for Nava across all levels of government (Federal, State & local). • Help Nava compete by finding and evaluating partner companies and analyzing competitors. • Support growth operations by keeping our pipeline up to date and customizing our Salesforce customer relationship management system reporting in response to user needs. • Research, analyze, and present on government procurement opportunities (e.g. RFPs, RFIs, etc). • Conduct competitive market research to identify current vendor landscape and contracts related to strategic clients and program areas. • Monitor, track and report on updates for upcoming and live procurements using business development tools (Salesforce, Confluence, Slack). • Identify and evaluate new areas of opportunity, including projects, offerings, and partnerships that align with the impact we seek to deliver. • Help Nava understand new programs and public policy by mapping the landscape of systems and services to identify risks, dependencies, stakeholders and areas where we can make a positive impact. • Develop processes, analysis, and artifacts that engage Nava executives, teams, and our government partners around priorities and support quick, clear decision-making. • Grow and mature Nava's strategic practice while promoting trust, personal growth, diversity, and inclusion.

Requirements

• Experience using opportunity tracking using a variety of tools including Deltek GovWin, Bloomberg Bgov, SAM.gov, fpds.gov as well as state and local procurement sites and agency forecasts. • An adaptive, empathetic, collaborative, and positive mindset. • Highly resourceful, reliable, and detail-oriented. • Ability to learn quickly, stay informed and deliver insightful analyses of new opportunities. • Experience: At least one year of experience in Business Development (BD) in the federal government or state government space. • Education: Bachelor's Degree (in any discipline) or equivalent in experience.
