Description

•This VP of Engineering role is a critical leadership position responsible for driving technological innovation and operational excellence in our veterinary software products. •Oversee multiple development teams, manage talent, and align technical strategies with business goals. •Shape product roadmap, optimize development processes, and foster a culture of innovation. •Manage cloud infrastructure ensuring reliability and security of our systems.

Requirements

•Over 10 years of progressive software engineering experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership, managing large-scale, mission-critical projects •Proven track record leading geographically distributed engineering teams of 30+ members •Strong technical background in .NET, Python, or similar languages, with proficiency in cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and knowledge of DevOps practices •Deep understanding of software development methodologies, best practices, and strategic problem-solving •Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to influence without direct authority •Proficiency in project management, resource allocation, and balancing technical decisions with business needs •Results-oriented, adaptable to ambiguity, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule to support global teams •Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect), Agile, and PMP are beneficial; willingness to travel occasionally to international office locations
