Description

• Senior Data Scientist responsible for driving data science initiatives and advancements at AIP Publishing. • Manage data-driven projects and develop predictive models impacting organizational decision-making. • Lead efforts in data analytics and machine learning across various processes.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field or equivalent professional experience. • Proven experience (5+ years) in applying advanced data science techniques to solve complex problems, with a proven track record in supporting data-driven decision making. • Experience in the STM scientific process or in STM publishing preferred but not required. • Strong background in advanced statistics, mathematics, and predictive modeling. • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala. • Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). • Excellent understanding of data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, PowerBI). • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage data science teams and projects. • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
