Description
• Develop and drive the overall experience design vision aligned with company goals, target audiences, and the product roadmap for ApartmentIQ • Own the design system, along with a plan for evolutionary implementation to bring the vision to reality over time • Work with teams across product, design, and engineering to prioritize and spec out new features to build • Work directly with engineering to ensure a feature gets built, balancing your vision, technical feasibility, and user value • Design new features all the way from concept to finalized pixels • Conduct user research to gain deep insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points. Utilize findings to inform and validate design decisions • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs to enhance user satisfaction
Requirements
• You have 8+ years of UX product design with a portfolio showcasing the impact of your work on the business • You have experience working on a small design team and 'doing it all' • You enjoy going deep on both UX and UI work • You're a clear communicator and enjoy working closely with partners across teams, particularly in engineering • You’re passionate about data visualization • You've invested in your craft and have experience with prototyping and micro-interactions • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. Experience with conducting user research and usability testing • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior designers • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends and technologies
