Accounting Manager

• As the needs of the company grow, our finance team is looking for a Technical Accounting Specialist. This position will provide leadership and oversight for technical accounting guidance and support to stakeholders as the subject matter expert in accounting standards and complex accounting issues.
• Prepares formal accounting position papers and memos for complex, material, and/or unique accounting issues
• Supporting and guiding business partners with the accounting and reporting implications of transactions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies
• Assist to operationalize financial reporting, risk management reporting and regulatory reporting requirements and needs
• Acts as the subject matter expert in providing consultation, advice, and day-to-day guidance regarding technical accounting
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Remain current on applicable and evolving financial reporting standards and securities and regulatory requirements and developing accounting/business issues
• Participate in preparation of internal and external financial statements
• Liaison with external auditors during the annual audit and quarterly reviews as required
• Establish strong relationships with cross-functional peers
• Contribute to building the technical infrastructure and control environment to support the company’s hyper-growth
• Other duties, as assigned
