Description

• Semperis is looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to join our Business Analytics team. We are looking for an individual that has strong hands-on expertise in cloud data warehousing and is passionate about data and analytics. As a strategic member of the team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of a modern cloud data platform that supports business intelligence, advanced analytics and data science.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related discipline • Proven experience in data architecture, data warehouse, and/or data design • Demonstrated experience delivering scalable data warehousing products to support operational and analytical data needs for operational systems, data science, and analytics teams • Strong experience in designing scalable and enterprise-scale conceptual, logical, and physical data models • Strong knowledge & implementation experience of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and industry best practices • Strong knowledge of ETL patterns and processes, including data quality and data privacy management • Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses, preferably Snowflake • Experience with one of the following BI reporting tools is a plus (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, etc.) • Solid technical and analytical skills with the ability to communicate across the organization and manage multiple priorities
