Description
• Manage Skyven's accounting function • Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient business operations • Build and improve Skyven’s financial capacity • Solve complex accounting issues • Provide timely and accurate financial statements • Oversee and support tax preparation • Ensure Skyven’s audit readiness • Work closely with internal teams and external partners
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field • 5-7+ years working in or managing a company’s accounting operations • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • Experience developing finance systems, policies, and processes • Experience managing external parties such as tax/audit firms and financial service providers • Experience managing US federal funding and compliance • Experience working in multiple industries and geographies • Experience with project finance and special purpose entities • Experience conducting or participating in audits • Ability to solve complex technical accounting issues • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to articulate complex financial topics to stakeholders at all levels • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills
