Description

• The Manager of Software will be responsible for management of personnel and all the day-to-day activities of a software development team. • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, meet the documented requirements, and with an acceptable level of quality. • Evaluate existing applications to determine technical changes, scheduled projects, resources and monitors project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent) is required • A minimum of 4-6 years of managing software engineers/teams. • A minimum of six to eight years as a software engineer • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other frontend technologies (ReactJS, Angular, NX) • Hands on experience with a deep understanding of relevant server containers and cloud technologies, for example, Node, GCP, AWS, etc • Hands on experience with a deep understanding of object oriented and multithreaded or asynchronous programming methodologies required • Experience with REST API implementations / frameworks, knowledge for XML & JSON a plus • Ability to interface with all levels of employees • Specifically, to work cooperatively with software engineers, system administrators, product managers and other stakeholders • Ability to work both independently with little supervision and in a team environment • Must have a willingness and patience to teach others • Must be articulate and communicate effectively, both in written and oral formats, with a specific ability to author and communicate technical designs and documentation • Must practice regular & continued self-education • Exercise troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
