Description
• Architect and develop backend systems for Caldera's blockchains • Build secure and scalable crypto-native systems on EVM blockchains • Take ownership of new features from conception through deployment • Lead data model design for performance, scalability, and reliability • Engage in performance tuning and optimization efforts • Provide technical leadership and mentorship
Requirements
• 4+ years of engineering experience • Experience writing backend services in Go or Typescript • Experience designing, building, and maintaining robust APIs • Strong ability to design efficient and scalable data models • Strong background with cloud computing platforms, especially AWS • Keen eye for security, solid understanding of threat modeling and secure system architecture • Bonus: Experience with modern infrastructure; containerization, infrastructure as code, kubernetes • Bonus: Familiarity with how blockchains like Ethereum or Bitcoin work under the hood • Bonus: Up-to-date with Ethereum scaling solutions such as sidechains or rollups • Bonus: Understanding of cryptography primitives, such as hash functions or digital signatures • Bonus: Built Ethereum “dapps” before
