Description

• Seeking a Security Engineer to join a highly motivated IA and security specialists team • Assist the C5ISC Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) team • Report directly to the CyberOps Project Manager • Conduct enterprise and system-level Security Engineering tasks • Hybrid position requiring proximity to either USCG C5ISC Kearneysville or USCG Base Portsmouth • Work onsite up to 2 days a week • Secret clearance required

Requirements

• Four or more years IT engineering/network security/information assurance experience • One or more years experience independently planning and conducting duties described • IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8570.1 M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program required • Experience with network scanning tools, IAVMs, DISA STIGs, and related Federal/DoD policies and regulation • Basic knowledge of common Operating Systems • Strong knowledge of networking and common network protocols • Knowledge of NIST RMF process and DHS/DoD security and risk management policies and procedures • Excellent customer/client focus • Within commuting distance to USCG C5ISC-Kearneysville or USCG Base Portsmouth • Experience with MS Office, MS Teams, NIST 800-53
