Description

• Represents the school at high school fairs, open house nights, community fairs, education fairs, and other related events. • Assist in canvassing local neighborhood to spread flyers, postcards, promotional materials according to marketing plan • Tracks recruitment and canvassing efforts and monitors effectiveness of various strategies and venues • Develops and maintains professional relationships with counselors and other middle and high school personnel • Makes contact with current, prospective, and pre-high school students • Leads campus tours for school groups and other target populations • Assists with social media and website posting and management • Assists in the development of marketing and public relations materials for enrollment management initiatives • Works closely with school personnel to communicate college programs and services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, business, marketing, or related field preferred • Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred • One to three years of experience in a related field in an academic setting • Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with diverse audiences • Self-motivated and proactive • Collaborative and flexible team player • Effective public presentation skills, including familiarity in the use of current presentation technologies • Ability to travel extensively and handle bulky presentation materials, with a lifting requirement of 30 pounds • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends • Ability to effectively schedule time on task and maintain effective communications with staff while operating with a high degree of autonomy and organization
