Description
• As a senior software engineer on the data infrastructure team, responsible for building out the infrastructure that underpins all systems • Ingest data from first and third-party services, ensure accuracy, and make it available in data warehouses • Role with 85% backend data processing architectures and 15% internal tooling frontends • Key role in business, responsible for the data that fuels systems • Attend architectural design discussions and maintain quality output
Requirements
• 7+ years of software development experience • Deep understanding of batch processing and stream processing techniques • Experience with data lakes and warehouses such as Redshift • Extensive experience coding in type-safe systems programming languages like Golang • History of building cloud-native architectures using infrastructure as code frameworks like AWS CDK • Understanding of concurrency control patterns and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB • Strong technical communication skills in written media • Mastery of Golang and TypeScript is a plus • Experience with modern web frontends like React is desirable
