• Lead successful projects working collaboratively with engineering team members • Make thoughtful architectural decisions to improve the quality of our software • Translate complex business requirements into technical plans • Drive a culture of technical excellence

Requirements

• Proven ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders • Proven success independently leading medium to large engineering teams on complex, multi-quarter initiatives • 6+ years of professional software development experience • High level of proficiency coding in production in a full stack capacity with Ruby on Rails and React • Exhibits a growth mindset • Exhibits a bias for action and comfortability persevering through ambiguity • Exhibits a passion for mentorship and coaching junior-mid level Engineers • Experience deploying web applications on Vercel and/or with NextJS • Well versed with microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native development (AWS or GCP preferred) • Knowledge of advanced CI/CD technologies • Contributes to the open-source community
