Description
• Scope, build, deploy, and test core features for utility integrations projects • Provide architectural recommendations to increase scalability of the platform • Mentor and guide other engineers • Participate in agile ceremonies and provide input on prioritization and technical plans • Work with Principal Engineering team to align team projects with overall engineering organization goals • Provide feedback on SDLC and other processes
Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in back end software development, ideally in Python • Experience with asynchronous job processing systems and event-driven architectures • Experience with medium to large projects and breaking down those projects into smaller, actionable tasks • Experience making proactive recommendations about a code base or software product, and making a business case for those recommendations • Experience working with relational databases • Nice to have: experience of any kind in the renewable energy industry • Nice to have: experience with web scraping
