Description

• We’re looking for an engineering manager to support Valon’s growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll lead 4+ engineers across one or more teams, working closely with your reports and partnering with product, design, and operations to build the future of Valon. You’ll empower your team through mentorship, defining long term strategy, strong technical leadership, business acumen, and more to ensure maximum impact and business value. You’ll also work closely with your peers to set the engineering culture and direction at Valon.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of engineering management experience. • At least 4+ years of software engineering experience. • Demonstrated track record of building and empowering long lasting teams. • Experience working in a highly complex and technical environment. • Experience working in a fast paced and ambiguous startup environment. • Passion for providing the biggest impact with inventive resource planning. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrates excellent judgment, problem solving, and decision making.

Benefits
