Description
• Viam is a platform for building smart machines and robots • Responsible for building cloud-based functionality for robot fleet management • Write and review code, mentor engineers and propose technical designs • Implement communication protocols, manage user flows, and background jobs
Requirements
• Has experience with both backend and frontend stacks (no need to be a perfect 50-50 split!) • Is energized through collaboration and looks forward to being part of a team • Is comfortable adjusting to evolving product goals and being flexible with their planning • Has experience with distributed systems and/or the design and architecture of a modern, scalable web application • Enjoys mentoring and teaching more junior engineers and seeks out cross-organizational impact • Prefers in-person collaboration and in-office work day-to-day but is comfortable with working with remote collaborators
