Description
• Develop a compelling vision that is built on top of a deep understanding of technology. • Partner with engineering to ship functionality that powerfully enables scalable and secure functionality. • Monitor each stage of the API product lifecycle. • Set a high bar for success, never accept the status quo, look for every opportunity you can find to innovate. • Manage the execution of initiatives from solution through launch - engaging all the right teams at Vimeo along the way. • Define metrics for success and failure and analyze and create dashboards for key metrics.
Requirements
• 12+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of successfully launching solutions. • 8+ years of experience building and launching individual API’s as well as public API platforms. • Computer Science background or equivalent technical experience. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Proven self-starter with a bias for action, who can both execute and strategize, and who is comfortable with ambiguity.
