Description

• Contract database management, including identifying and summarizing material terms and key dates of executed agreements, monitoring agreement expirations, and facilitating renewals. • Maintain and evolve homegrown legal systems and processes to improve department efficiency. • Manage the legal team’s systems, including Airtable, Dropbox, DocuSign, and Zapier. • Create and maintain automated workflows and processes. • Update and maintain legal quick-reference and self-help resources, including contract templates, best practices guides, playbooks, wikis, and 101 documents. • Manage the Legal & Business Affairs team intranet site and internal team hub. • Proactively identify gaps in knowledge and write new articles for the intranet site. • Support and/or lead new projects for the Legal team. • Assist with the development and execution of legal operations initiatives for the Legal team in collaboration with the Legal Operations Manager. • Assist with tracking and maintaining records related to litigation and other disputes.

Requirements

• An operations or administrative professional OR someone curious about the legal operations field and willing to learn and develop their operational skills. • Quick learner with strong analytical skills and impeccable attention to detail. • Highly motivated and comfortable taking the initiative. • Enjoys solving complex problems and embraces innovation and technology. • Proven ability to independently identify areas of improvement and proactively escalate. • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including clear and effective written and verbal communication. • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and across all areas of the organization and can effectively manage upwards. • Creative, flexible, enthusiastic, innovative, and a can-do, no job is too small, team player attitude. • Desired, but not necessary: • Familiarity with low code automation tools such as Airtable or Zapier. • PMP, Scrum, or other equivalent project management experience. • 1+ years of experience at a law firm or in-house corporate legal team.
