Description
• As the Director of Engineering for the Insurance team, you will help build foundational new software to help patients understand their insurance coverage and book with confidence. • Your teams will drive products that help healthcare providers more easily manage their insurance workflows. • You will lead multiple teams, with a careful eye toward helping managers and developers grow and perform at their best. • You’ll help those teams design and build complex, but resilient distributed systems that manage and grow our critical insurance datasets.
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience building and shipping software • 4+ years of experience leading, growing, and inspiring engineering teams • Managed complex data integrations with third parties and internal APIs, preferably with AWS based distributed systems • Lead successful teams and have a track record of helping engineers and managers grow in their careers • Forged strong product partnerships and keen business understanding • Experience leveraging data science and machine learning to build scalable solutions • Worked in regulated environments and have experience data secure and safe • Humility, a strong bias toward action, and exceptional accountability • Not a requirement, but healthcare experience is a huge plus, especially with insurance and claims data
