Description
• Oversee all the accounting processes of our US subsidiary • Lead month-end closing process for US, Mexico, Brasil, South Africa • Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies • Ensuring compliance with local and Group regulations • Drive process improvements to streamline accounting procedures and policies • Consolidation package preparation • Preparation of data for tax purposes • IC transactions reconciliation • Serve as a key contact with external auditors and tax consultants
Requirements
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a background in Big 4 audit or a large regional firm • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • CPA License • Strong technical accounting skills with experience in month-end close, reconciliations and audit preparation • Understanding of US tax regulations • Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish (surprise us with this) • Experience in accounting for SaaS technology companies • Familiarity with ERP/accounting platform implementation and enhancement • Expertise in mapping and enhancing accounting processes • Experience with internal controls implementation
