Description

• Responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security events and incidents across network infrastructure • Play a critical role in protecting organization's digital assets and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information systems

Requirements

• Expertise in correlating audit log events from multiple sources throughout a complex IT and cloud enterprise • Minimum of 3 years experience in a SOC Analyst role (or similar position) • Understanding of cyber forensics concepts including malware, hunt, etc • Proficient with Splunk Enterprise Security • Strong experience on security industry trends, new threats and attack techniques, mitigation techniques, and emerging security technologies • Experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Computer Information Systems (or relevant industry certifications) • Experienced with CrowdStrike or other Endpoint Detection and Response technologies • Experienced with vulnerability management tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, and intrusion detection systems • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Capella Employees must be a U.S. citizen, lawful U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce, as applicable.
