💰 Debt Financing on 2022-05

Description

• Originate new relationships with financing parties across the tax equity, debt and cash equity landscape for the company, and serve as the face of CCR to many industry participants at conferences and as the senior CCR representative on project financing transactions. • Serve as commercial lead for negotiations with external counterparties on financing transactions and overall transaction lead to drive towards the deal team to financial close. • Own all aspects of the financial models for CCR project financing transactions, across a diversity of transaction structures for utility scale solar and storage projects in the US. While the Cypress Creek Structured Finance team has an outstanding team of associates and analysts who perform the vast majority of the financial modeling for our transactions in house, we are explicitly looking for an individual who is deeply experienced in modeling themselves and is willing to and interested in rolling up their sleeves and considering themselves directly accountable for the numbers. • Work with other company leaders to develop market entry, power marketing, value engineering and financing strategies for CCR’s growing and dynamic pipeline. • Create and lead presentations and other materials for key stakeholders including our Investment Committee, our Board of Directors, and external financing parties. • Manage internal and external project diligence workstreams and transaction timelines. • Manage, mentor and provide guidance to analysts and associates on our team • Work closely with Capital Markets & M&A colleagues to review and execute opportunities for new corporate financings and project M&A • Be comfortable working independently, but also collaboratively with various subject matter experts (internal and external) to manage substantive issues around tax, accounting, financing, structuring, development, and legal considerations that impact transactions in solar and battery storage project finance • Delegate and review the work of junior members of the team and provide guidance and feedback. • Provide mentorship and guidance to deal team members and to all members of the broader CCR Structured Finance team. Play a primary role in the recruiting and training of future junior members of team.
