Description

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive taxonomy for classifying media content. • Develop, maintain, and refine taxonomies to support project needs, ensuring they are accurate, consistent, and scalable. • Analyze and classify content using suitable and contextual keywords. • Generate data reports to support advertising campaign strategies. • Create, update, and manage Jira tickets related to taxonomy tasks. Ensure that all tickets are well-defined, organized, and aligned with project objectives. • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the product life cycle, from project initiation through to delivery, and participate in Sprint activities. • Utilize & interpret NLP modeling techniques to optimize classification processes. • Perform data mapping from walled garden APIs for seamless integration. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their taxonomy needs and provide solutions that align with project goals • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines and ensuring all tasks are completed with precision. • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. • Think outside the box to develop creative solutions for complex taxonomy challenges and automate processes where possible. • Be flexible and responsive to ad-hoc projects and tasks that may arise in addition to your core responsibilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Taxonomist role in an Advertising, Marketing, Adtech or related field. • Expertise in suitable and contextual classification, data reporting and data mapping from walled gardens and other open APIs. • Experience with Jira, including the ability to write and manage Jira tickets. • Strong adaptability and agility to handle custom requests and complex system requirements. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and organization. • Fluent in communication and collaboration with stakeholders. • Ability to think creatively and devise innovative solutions to complex problems • Bachelor's or higher degree in library science or other relevant field. • Ability to travel a minimum of 15% a year for onsite meetings, training, etc.
