Description

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge on the features, benefits and application of Datamaran's offering • Generate and close new pipeline across business segments and verticals through prospect engagements including cold calling, emailing, demos, negotiations and marketing activities of the company • Retain a hunter mentality to direct outbound lead sourcing and identify new opportunities across net new and existing clients • Build and maintain fruitful relationships with prospects; escalate awareness across the enterprise, primarily with Chief Risk Officers and Chief Sustainability Officers • Understand, track and anticipate clients’ business needs, offering solutions to match their requirements • Data management through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems • Become a Datamaran Certified User (expert user) • Acquire technical knowledge on materiality analysis, risk management and reporting • Share market insights with Datamaran's internal teams • Effectively manage a book of accounts, creating reliable forecasts, and working with management to close open pipeline to achieve sales quota • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Full sales cycle experience: identifying, qualifying, developing and managing a pipeline successfully • Significant experience working with major clients/enterprises, successfully leading complex sales processes • Minimum 5+ years closing experience in SaaS B2B Sales • 2+ years in an Enterprise Sales role • Demonstrable Environment, Social and Governance domain experience: ESG Sales Experience, with a focus on Governance as the golden ticket • Ability to project manage complex sales cycles with internal stakeholders (Business Development, Client Success and other teams) • Experience with CRM (Salesforce, Salesloft, HubSpot...) • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Located within sustainable commuting distance of NYC and happy to regularly work from the Datamaran NYC hub (likely at least 2 or 3 days per week) • Preferable Knowledge of materiality analysis, risk management and reporting, gained from within the corporate sustainability, ESG arena
