Description

• The Web Design Project Lead will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of their team and contributing to team development. • These responsibilities extend to employee training, monitoring work queues, distributing work, maintaining efficient workflow systems, and acting as the first point of escalation for their team. • This is a remote supervisory position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related field • Experience in web design, including responsive web design • Strong understanding of Design Systems and Process • Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver • Knowledge of the latest trends in design and front-end website development (Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, SASS etc.) • Strong fundamental HTML/CSS/JS skills (applicants should be able to hand-code, we do not use WordPress, PHP, etc.) • Strong organizational and communication skills both written and verbal • 8 years’ experience in field or career (preferred) • Prior experience as a supervisor or manager (preferred) • Experience with Workflow Management Systems such as JIRA (preferred) • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) (preferred) • Understanding of Project Management (preferred) • Strong understanding of design principles: typography; color theory, and layout (preferred)
