Description
• Work with infrastructure for critical data sources and products • Build and maintain data pipelines between various source systems • Shape the architecture of data platform and collaborate with colleagues
Requirements
• 4+ years previous experience in a data engineering, software engineering, or data analysis/data science role • 2+ years previous experience as a data engineer, developing and maintaining data systems and pipelines using modern data stack technologies • Experience with Amazon Web Services, including IAM permissions and S3 • Experience with operational monitoring and incident response • Familiarity with infrastructure as code • In-depth perspectives on effective strategies for data movement, storage, and monitoring • A commitment to details and consistency that doesn’t block progress • Passion for rigorous use of data as a tool for racial justice and educational equity
