• Lead and manage various people-focused programs and services • Build and support an HR team • Oversee compensation, benefits, and workforce analytics • Keep informed on industry trends and challenge the organization to develop best practices • Ensure HR processes are compliant with legal requirements • Develop metrics for employee analytics • Design and manage compensation, benefits, and rewards strategies • Create employee data reports and maintain employee records • Manage relationships with vendors and recommend enhancements to total reward offerings • Optimize HRIS and recommend advancements in HR technology • Oversee HR compliance function and manage audits, documentation, and key controls
• HR certification preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field • 5+ years HR related experience • 3 or more years of management experience • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel • Experience using HR databases, preferably iCIMS and ADP • Knowledge of labor laws, practices, and procedures • Understanding of total rewards administration and development • Familiarity with issues of equity, diversity, inclusion, and institutional racism • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to establish effective working relationships • Acceptance of diverse lifestyles and practices • Analytical and policy formulation skills • Leadership abilities with experience in managing multiple priorities and deadlines • Valid NYS driver’s license in compliance with Agency standards
