Description
• Timely responses to user requests and events from monitoring systems • Problem qualification and resolution • Execution of regular operational tasks • Close collaboration with other units of the infrastructure team and the product team • Proactive analysis of issues related to infrastructure services and offering suggestions for improvements
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of production experience with Ubuntu or Debian • Practical knowledge of Linux performance monitoring and tuning utilities and commands • Shell scripting experience with Bash and Python • Strong knowledge of network protocols • Experience working with automated provisioning of Linux infrastructure and services • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of NIS, NFS and CIFS • Experience working with agile development teams and DevOps • Experience with Linux integration with LDAP • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
