Description

• Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies that align with Excellence Community Schools’ mission and annual goals. • Create and manage annual communications and marketing budgets and plans. • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities. • Analyze and iterate plans to ensure quarterly and annual goals are attained. • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication and marketing channels. • Oversee the creation and maintenance of brand guidelines. • Enhance ECS’s public image and reputation. • Develop and manage a comprehensive communication strategy, including internal and external communications. • Write and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other company communications as directed. • Conduct quality control audits on all communications. • Develop working relationships with digital and print media agencies. • Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across digital, print, and other media. • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve KPIs. • Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop promotional materials and sales tools. • Oversee ECS’s online presence, including website, social media, and email marketing. • Implement SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing tactics to drive traffic and engagement. • Utilize analytics tools to measure and improve digital marketing performance. • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing and communications team. • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment. • Set clear performance goals and conduct regular evaluations. • Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing strategies with business goals, respond to crises or challenging situations quickly and professionally. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and media.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. • 10+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and communication strategies. • Experience with digital marketing, social media, and content creation. • Strong leadership and team management skills including the ability to lead and motivate a staff to produce high-level, brand driven content. • Excellent written, verbal and digital communication skills. • Proficient in marketing analytics and performance metrics. • Analytical and creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. • Outstanding organizational skills coupled with an ability to multitask and prioritize projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
